Key steps
Sample preparation | Weigh 10 g of fish sample. Add 240 ml distilled water and homogenize for 1-2 minutes in agrinder or blender. Filter or centrifuge the homogenate. |
Sample acylation | Pipet 100 µl of the filtered homogenate into the acylation buffer tubes. Screw down the acylation buffer tubes with the acylation caps and mixvigorously by hand. Incubate the tubes for 5 minutes at RT. |
Assay | Pipet 100 µl of acylated samples into the running buffer tubes. Cap the tubesand mix gently. Pipet 100 µl from the running buffer tubes to the microtiter wells, add the lateral flow device (blue part) and incubate for 5 min at room temperature. Read result within 5 minutes. |
